HAT COLLECTIVE WINS GOOD DESIGN® 2021 AWARD

Elle Collection Recognized for Design Excellence in Prestigious International Competition

HAT Collective, a leader in ergonomic, design-forward workplace solutions that allows people to work their way, announced today that its Elle Collection was named a GOOD DESIGN® 2021 Award winner. Founded in 1950 by Charles and Ray Eames and Eero Saarinen, the GOOD DESIGN award program brands itself as the oldest and the world’s most recognized program for design excellence worldwide.

“HAT Collective strives to put innovative design, ergonomics and easy user functionality at the heart of every product we develop,” said HAT Collective Chief Marketing Officer Libby Ferin. “To be recognized as a leader in these areas is gratifying and affirms our commitment to providing exceptionally designed workplace solutions.”

Manufactured at HAT Collective’s Danish design and manufacturing facility, the height-adjustable, fully customizable collection promotes an active work environment with an unmistakable European flare. The Elle Collection allows people to work their way — whether in the office or at home, sitting or standing, together or at a distance. Each product within the collection is highly customizable in scale and materiality. The Elle Collection debuted at NeoCon 2021 and includes:

Elle: An elegant, Parsons-style table that offers unmatched stability compared to other 4-leg, height-adjustable models

Ellehaven: A height-adjustable worksurface that provides the ultimate in group collaboration

Two static tables: Available in either a fixed-height sitting or standing option

Now in its 71st year, the GOOD DESIGN award program is organized annually by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies, and Metropolitan Arts Press Ltd. The GOOD DESIGN Award seeks to honor recipients for quality design of the highest form, function and aesthetic.

More than 1,100 award recipients from more than 40 countries were recognized this year in categories ranging from electronics and transportation to medical equipment, furniture, graphics and packaging. Among the 2021 winners were globally recognized brands such as Ferrari SpA., Google LLC., LG Electronics and Johnson & Johnson Company.
